SKY ARMY BEGINS BOOK ONE: CHAPTER ONE

    Sky was simply walking through the woods of Minecraftia when he heard a sound.
    "Ty, no!"
    "I got this!"
    Sky ran in the direction of the voices and soon found himself staring out at a beach. Two boys were standing in the shallow water, fighting squids. Sky took out his nearly broken stone sword. It wasn't much, but it was something.
    He charged into the waves and helped the young men fight the squids.
    "What are you doing?" The older boy asked. He had light brown hair cut short and sharp blue eyes. He also wore a green headset.
    "Helping!" Sky shouted back as he stabbed the squid that had been about to attack the boy with the headphones from behind.
     Overwhelmed by the extra help, the remaining squids fled shouting repeatedly, "Squid abuse!"
    The trio looked at one another. "Who are you?" The younger boy asked Sky. He had brown hair that covered one of his green eyes. He wore a short sleeved white shirt and gray pants. He also looked to be around Sky's age.
    "My name's Sky." Sky said.
    "I'm Bryce. This is my brother, Ty." The boy with the headphones gestured in the direction of younger brother. "Thanks for helping us. We really-" Bryce was cut off as a huge wave came over all of them.
    Sky felt himself get pulled under the water by slimy, thick tentacles. The squids had come back.
    He tried to reach his side to pull his sword out of its sheath, but both his arms were trapped by the tentacles.
    "Foolish human!" A squid laughed. "You will regret ever toiling with squid kind!"
    Finally Sky managed to stretch his hand far enough to reach the sword. He yanked it out of its sheath and cut of the squid's tentacle. As it screamed in anger, Sky desperately clawed his way to the surface.
    When he broke through the waves, he took a deep breath if air and scrambled for the shore. As he stood up and turned around, he saw the squid rise up out of the sea, glaring at him with one less tentacle.
    It had not been many squids coming back to attack them. The squids had run to get a bigger squid. One that was over twenty feet tall.
    Sky looked down at his sword to see that it had broken when Sky had cut off the squid's tentacle. All that was left was a dull stub.
    "What is your name human?" The squid asked angrily.
    "I am Sky." He replied. He held his useless sword ready to defend, even though it was hopeless.
    He held it out in front of him and closed his eyes, ready for the end.
    Then, suddenly, there was a loud ZAP and then a huge splash. Sky opened his eyes to see the squid dead.
